Whether you’ve accidentally deleted someone off your website and you don’t have a copy, or you’re just curious and want to explore what your website looked like ten years, you can do so with this handy free tool: Internet Time Machine.

Here’s how it works:

I had a business many years back called Think Thinker. We had a pretty cool logo and I wish for the world of me I could find a copy so I could maybe reuse it at some point – so lets see if I can accomplish this.

  1. Visit https://archive.org/web/
  2. Input the domain name you’d like to get the history on (i.e. thinkthinker.com)Screen Shot 2015-10-10 at 7.34.51 PM
  3. Select the year, then the month you’d like to see archives of (i.e. April 2008)

  4. Select month & day of the screen shot you want to see (i.e. July 2, 2006)
    Internet Time Machine
  5. There you have it!
